KCRW’s syndicated weekly political discussion show Left, Right & Center will be broadcast live at The Broad Stage on Thursday September 20, 8pm. Guests are requested to be in their seats by 7:45pm; latecomers will be seated at the next available break.
Hosted by Josh Barro, the acclaimed radio show/podcast brings people from the full political spectrum for a provocative but civilized look at the the most important issues of the day in news, politics and pop culture in a clash of ideas rather than personalities. The broadcast comes just in time for the 2018 midterm elections that will decide which party controls Congress.
Participants include Josh Barro, who besides hosting Left Right and Center also hosts KCRW’s All the President’s Lawyers, a weekly podcast monitoring President Trump’s various legal troubles. Barro is a senior editor for Business Insider for which he writes commentaries on politics, business and the economy.
Guest Ana Marie Cox hosts Crooked Media’s podcast With Friends Like These. She has also written for The New Republic, Sports Illustrated, The Washington Post and Esquire.Rich Lowry is a syndicated columnist and editor of National Review, the conservative guidepost promoting rising conservative leaders and policies.
Left Right and Center airs at 3pm and 7pm Fridays on KCRW 89.9FM in Los Angeles, at 7pm Fridays on KALW 91.7FM in San Francisco, and 6AM and 6PM Saturdays on WNYC AM820 in New York.
