St. Vincent Meals on Wheels will hold its annual food and wine fundraiser An Evening on the Beach on Thursday, September 12, 6 – 10 PM at the Jonathan Beach Club in Santa Monica.
LA’s top chefs present will present their signature bites, served alongside beer and wine tastings and specialty cocktails. Dress is casual, shoes are optional, so feel free to dance to live music as the late summer sun sets over the ocean.
This year’s chef line-up includes: Gino Angelini of Angelini Osteria, Genevieve Gergis of Bestia and Bavel, Brian Rigsby and Andrea Shirey of Craft Los Angeles, Hilary Henderson of CUT Beverly Hills, Mimmo Bruno of DiStefano Cheese, Matt Molina of HIPPO, Jason McClain, Masa Endo, and Luis Perez of The Jonathan Club, Kevin Meehan of Kali, Charles Olalia of Ma’am Sir, Brian Bornemann of Michael’s Restaurant, Zak Walters of The Misfit and Ingo’s Tasty Diner, Carlos Cabrera of Petrossian, Mark Peel of Prawn, Mark Gold of Salt, Chris Phelps of Salt’s Cure, Raphael Francois and Sally Camacho Mueller of Tesse, and Vartan Abgaryan of Yours Truly.
Vintners showcase a number of their wines, including Ascension Cellars, Beekeeper Cellars, Bonaccorsi Wine Company, California Wineries & Vineyards, Dr. Loosen Wines, Far Niente, Golden State Wine Co, Kalin Wines, Malibu Vineyards, The Malibu Vineyard, Melville, Navarro Vineyards, Nellcote, Silver Oak, Revenant Winery, Twomey, Trefethen Family Vineyards, and Workman Ayer.
Spirits are presented by Benromach Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskey, Chopin Distillery, Red Door Gin, Dorda Liqueurs, and Koch El Mezcal, in addition to a martini bar complete with Petrossian caviar-stuffed olives. Hermosa Brewing Company will present a selection of their local, craft beers, and water by Evian and Badoit.
